It's almost Thanksgiving!

And you know what that means, right?

PECAN PIE.

Here is a list of things I'm procrasting on while thinking about pecan pie:
1) Washing and/or folding laundry.
2) Wondering how someone as lovely as Jennifer Lopez could so often have hair that is horribly and tragically wrong.
3) Finishing any of the six (yes, I said six) books that I am currently writing.
4) Wondering why every single person in my company waits until the week of Thanksgiving to get a massive project done when they have known about said massive project for months (at least).
5) Also? Why I have to be involved in everything that is going on with everyone in #4.
6) If I am possibly the only person left on the planet who has not read the Twilight series.
7) Or seen any of the movies.
8) And also doesn't care, except for having concerns over someone's soul being sparkly, as that sounds painful.
9) Pondering the meaning of life.
10) Wishing my butt was smaller.

I've never read Twilight or seen any movies either... and I've never eaten pecan pie. I hope we can still be friends.

I've never read Twilight (or seen the movie) and don't intend too.

I wish my butt was smaller too - but I also wish my mid-section would calm the hell down and get back in proportion with the rest of my body.

Never read Twilight. And I have a smallish butt. Very flat.

Now, about that pie . . .

Know what's fuckev? I'm on a strike from making my pecan pie of great orgasmicness (the ONLY pie I like) because my family is being asstacular about it!

I wanna know what you're reading and when you'll move here so I can borrow them.

And Twilight? Really was a fun read. The movie sucked dildos but I refusev to get sucked in...then it happened. Good junk brain kinda stuff.

Oh. And if my butt got smaller? I'd have none. Fucking pancake ass.

Movies..not a fan of, but will still probably see. Books...the first one I liked. The second one was okay. The third and fourth I had to read because I already had so much invested in it!

Pecan pie is my favorite too! I've read all the Twilight books, but only saw the first movie. What a pile of horseshit it was...

oh, and I love you. that is all. :)

I've never read the books but I've seen the first movie. I'll likely see the 2nd cuz I'm a big fan of muscly men running around without their shirts.

Pecan pie? Too sweet for me. I'm about to pull a carrot cake that I made from scratch, out of the oven. Then I'll make the cream cheese icing. Then, it's going to my husband's work for them to share because I'm back on weight watchers and I can't have any.

:(

I usually just lurk and laugh or moan sympathetically when I read your blog, but I have to tell you a secret, Stephanie.

There is A PIECE OF PECAN PIE sitting in a plastic container in my car right now, waiting for lunchtime. OMG! *sighs* I heart Thanksgiving like, whoa.

Also, the Twilight thing? Overrated. Especially books 2-4 and all the films.

In the meantime...PECAN PIE! Yay!

no twilight for me either, doesn't everyone wish their butt was smaller, and ps, my hubby loves pecan pie. now that i've learned (given in) to making pie crust, he's going to want it even more... sigh.

I've never read TWILIGHT either--and I DON'T INTEND TO....

as for bigger boobs and smaller butts. I've been wanting to start a foundation [how appropriate] that takes from those of us that have too much and gives it to those who don't have enough. Just need the plastic surgeons to donate their time and some money to help with recovery.

first time I ever had Pecan Pie was at a roadside cafe in Georgia circa 1967ish.

i generally love pie, but pecan pie is too sweet and i'm not a fan of the pecan in general. i find it bitter. and, srsly, if you're so bitter it takes a quart of karo syrup to make you palatable? i'm just not interested.

twilight? never read it. never seen it. not gonna start now. i didn't want to read what teenage girls were reading when i was a teenage girl, why the hell would i start now? also? emo vampires who resort to stalking in order to get the girl? totally ew.

three funny commentaries on twilight by other people that make me laugh: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZwM3GvaTRM <-- Buffy vs. Edward Remix

I need to learn to make pecan pie. I think I'm procrastinating.

Don't get the whole Twilight thing either. I've no desire to read/watch anything about Twilight.

Also have never had pecan pie. I know! Well I didn't like pecans for years and years and now that I do it still looks a little funny to me.

I've never had pecan pie.

Is that wrong?

I've never had Pecan Pie. Well, what is it made of? And plus, you don't get it here in India.

Please don't read the Twilight series! It totally sucks. I managed to read the first book by skipping a LOT of pages. I wonder what's so cool about it. =\

After I read the first book and proclaimed how BAD the book was.. well, it became world famous or something.

Bad karma, I suppose.

All my friends hate the fact that I HATE the book. Seriously, vampires don't sparkle in the sunlight! And drinking animal blood to be human.. is just HILARIOUS!

Oh, well.

Add me to the group that has not only NOT joined the Twilight madness, but I have also never had Pecan pie. I'm not a nut girl.
Oh, and butts to big and my boobs are just right, if only they were back where they started.

Just made two pecan pies....can I hold off on eating a piece until company arrives? Until after dinner? Up in the air.
Twilight just doesn't even interest me. Maybe having my blood sucked out while I'm having sex just isn't my fetish? I'm a nurse and blood isn't all that romantic to me.
Butt? What butt? It moved to my belly about a decade ago. I now refer to my stomach as my butt/belly. If only I could swing it around 180 degrees. I would have a JLo rear view :)

I tried to read Twilight and to this day it is only the 2nd book I have ever not finished. The writing was like a bad 12th grade narrative. You aren't missing anything.

To this day Twilight is only the 2nd book in my life I never finished. It sucked balls. The writing was like a BAD 12th grade narrative. The woman throws around adjectives until you can't stand it anymore. You aren't missing anything...

Hi all! .! Happy Thanksgiving!!! :) :)
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, and every yr I like to get into the mood-extend the holiday, since it were-by reading "Thanksgiving novels." For example, most of these stories are mostly about family and friends, about coming together to heal old hurts and giving them thanks for the gift of love. .. .... .. #
