No report cards either.

"Guess what we learned at church tonight?" the Boy Child asked me as he and the Girl Child climbed into the car last night.

"What?"

"We learned about cursing!"

"You probably got an A on that lesson, right?" I asked him. "Because we're all REALLY GOOD at cursing."

He frowned. "No, the point was NOT to curse a lot."

"So you failed?"

"There aren't any grades mom. It's church."

"Oh okay."

"You know mom...your mouth is the portal to Hell."

"My mouth? Or just anyones mouth?"

"Um...pretty much yours."

I win at all the wrong things.

So, it's just your mouth that is the portal to Hell? Well, f*@# that's a relief!

"pretty much yours." ha ha ha... my daughter would totally agree! In fact, we just had a non-church induced conversation about this last night...

Well I have to post this somewhere:

The other night, my 4 y.o. daughter, L, was laying next to me on the floor.

L: "Aw, sh*t the cat is laying on me."

Me: "that's a bad word only grown ups can use." (all calm)

L: "Aw, f*ck the cat is laying on me."

Me: "YOU SAY THAT ONE MORE TIME AND YOU'RE GOING TO TIME OUT!"

I think I might have a worse potty mouth than you. :)

I have a friend who was all proud when her very young son conjugated the verb "shit" into past tense ("I shat").

Trust me, you gotta take your wins where you find them.
