Fighting against your own needs to do what you know is right.
Sometimes that means going down with the ship. And there's always the question of where your own needs end and others' begin (do you really have the right to cling to total honesty if your job is at stake and you have children to feed?). Someone who comes up with a graceful, beautiful solution to that problem is also admirable, I think.

Doing the right thing, even when it's not the easy thing. I always admire that.

Also:
1) Honesty above all things. Honesty doesn't have to be brutal.
2) Unconditional love. It's so easy to be judgemental, even of our loved ones.

Been pondering this for a couple days now. Still not sure. I agree with Dawn but feel like there is something else I can't put my finger on.
