Just because I'm like that, yo.

I friggin' love headbands.
(Also, I'm pretty emotionally spent right now and have nothing of value to say. But still. Headbands.)

You are rocking that headband! I would love to be able to, but my hair's far too stoooooopid to look remotely cute.

I know you probably get this a lot. Like, every time you leave the house. But damn, your hair makes me jealous.

(Also, your face is crazy-amounts slimmer. ROCK ON!!)

With hair like yours you could rock a banana peel....that's a compliment.

Found you over at Nine Kinds of Crazy!
I love hairbands too, but ever since I cropped my mane 5 years ago, I can't keep them on my head. They fly off like rubber bands shot between your fingers. I'd even consider growing my hair out again if it meant I could wear more hair accessories! - G

You in a headband is a win.

ok, this is kinda unrelated to this post, but I wasn't sure where to comment exactly & this seemed pretty good. I'm not sure how I landed on your blog, whether I stumbled or linked from a link or whatever, but I have been reading for over an hour now and laughing so hard & also really feeling your tenderness (cheesy, I know, but its late) oh man, can I empathize w/ some (most) of your stories. I am married w/ a lovable man who can also be the biggest pain in the ass, live in the south, have two middle school age boys, struggle with my weight, I could be you. I have you bookmarked to come back for more. Thanks for being so honest, I love to write and would love to blog, but just not brave enough. yet. You are such a beautiful inspirational woman.
P.S. My hair is one of my best features. at 40, I still get compliments on it all the time. It frames so nicely that "such a pretty face" backhanded compliment that chunky girls get.I would trade it for killer abs and a great rack in a heartbeat though.Cuz I'm shallow like that.
