What did I tell you?

Driving home from Tae Kwon Do, we turn from a busy highway onto a steep hill. A truck is waiting at the stop sign at the bottom of the hill to turn onto the busy highway. As we turn, the 200 year old man driving the truck stares at us as though he's never seen one of them there new-fangled SUV's. Or something.

Boy Child: Mom? Why do old people always stare at us?

Me: Oh, you know. They think we're on their lawn or something.

Boy Child, thoughtfully: Old people do seem to be very concerned about children on their lawns.

Me: True dat.
