That's me on my dad's lap. Yes, he's wearing a pants suit. Yes, it's baby blue. Yes, it was the 70's. And yes, my brother is thrilled about it all. Every bit of it.
i was much older in the 70's but my dad had a baby blue suit very similar. my boyfriend. now husband had a denim suit but it really wasn't denim.. it just looked like it. like old lady pants..weird. haven't thought about it in years. good luck with the new blog it looks good!
I have a similar picture with my mom and I- me in my brown and orange polyester pants suit (I was about 4) and my mom with an amazingly colourful frock of some sort and farrah fawcet waves in her hair. Love it.
I was all grown up in the 70s and I was cool! I had Farrah Fawcett hair, mini-skirts and boots, and bell bottoms and tie-dye. But my favorite was the bohemian peasant dresses... I still love them!

I have a similar old family pic as my cell phone screen saver. I was 9 & my hair was feathered. Mom's was frosted.
LOL since we are about the same age I have about the same pic of my family LOL.
ohgod--my family has these types of photos from the 50s--much more pathetic. we look like the Joad family or something.
